Sweet Cinnamon Tahini Freezer Fudge (Smooth and Creamy!)

There is not a day that goes by where I don’t eat a little something sweet and delicious after lunch and dinner (yes, both!). I love having a cookie with tea, coconut milk ice cream, a hunk of dark chocolate, I could go on, but I’m starting to get hungry! It had been a little while since I made my yummy 4-ingredient dreamy vegan fudge, so I decided to explore another fudging amazing recipe 😉

I was looking through my pantry debating between almond butter and peanut butter fudge when I saw my trusty jar of tahini (ground sesame seeds) and had my lightbulb moment! I love using tahini in dressings, sauces, in smoothies, and even my homemade breads because it is not only incredibly creamy, but also very nutritious.

Talk to me about tahini: Some of the many benefits of tahini include its abundance in healthy fats and amino acids, it is an excellent source of vitamins and minerals, it improves skin health, assists in balancing hormones, boosts nutrient absorption, isn’t subject to mold like other nut butters (e.g., peanut butter), it’s allergen friendly (it’s made of sesame seeds), and finally it’s creamy texture is unbeatable!

For anyone who has had tahini and didn’t quite love the flavor as it is not inherently sweet like peanut butter and almond butter (it’s actually a bit bitter), this fudge is sweet! A bit of cinnamon paired with vanilla stevia (although you can use any sweetener you choose) and all the flavors come together perfectly! I’m also addicted to chocolate, so I had to throw a few dark chocolate chips in 🙂 Anyway, point being is that this fudge doesn’t taste like tahini per se, but it’s creamy consistency is absolutely perfect in this recipe! I definitely encourage you to try this easy 5-ingredient recipe!

Sweet Cinnamon Tahini Freezer Fudge

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1/3 cup raw cacao butter
  • 1/3 cup tahini
  • 1/2 Tbsp. organic cinnamon
  • 10-12 drops liquid vanilla stevia or sweetener of choice to taste
  • 1/8 cup dark chocolate chips optional

Instructions

  1. Mix together all ingredients and pour into a rectangular glass dish and place in freezer until firm. 

    2. Remove from freezer and let soften to cut into perfect squares or cut up right away for various sized chunks. 

    3. Store in airtight container in freezer for up to 2 months. Alternatively, keep in fridge for up to 2 weeks and enjoy any time! 

I love to pop a few of these dreamy bites after lunch or dinner and eat them straight outta the freezer! My hubby likes to let them soften a little bit and then enjoy them. They are great either way!
